Several minor occurrences of copper sulphide mineralisation associated with diapirism and igneous activity centred on the Mount Remarkable Fault were investigated by a literature survey of salient features and of past exploration methods used. It was concluded that the licence area hold sufficient economic potential to justify starting an extensive exploration programme involving geological, geophysical and geochemical field work.
