An area on northern Yorke Peninsula centred ~16 km south-west of Alford and 9 km north-northeast of Wallaroo has been explored for possible buried economic IOCG type mineralisation which could have formed within Palaeoproterozoic or younger basement rocks. During the first licence year, no work was done. Planned exploration was dependent upon the outcomes of reviews of basement structures and their geophysical expression then being performed in-house with particular regard to the company's adjacent EL 5212 Glenrae, which is located closer to the mineralised Alford Shear Zone. EL 5361 overlies mainly granite of the Tickera pluton; it was taken up because it contains irregularly shaped magnetic anomalies that may relate either to primary magnetite within the granite or to metasomatic alteration possibly associated with copper-gold mineralisation. The area has seen little past exploration activity and has scant historical drillhole information. During licence Year 2, it was decided that the existing geophysical survey data coverage on the tenement was enough for generating targets, but none of compelling interest could be identified. Consequently tenure of the area was allowed to lapse on expiry at the end of the year.
