Only limited soil sampling was carried out in an area located on the south-western margin of the Gawler Ranges, and centred about 85 km north-east of Streaky Bay. The exploration target was possible vein style epithermal gold or silver mineralisation associated with both a buried Hiltaba Suite intrusion rimmed by a magnetic anomaly and with previously recorded weak gold-in-calcrete geochemical anomalism. 60 soil samples were collected at a 500 m x 500 m grid spacing and submitted for partial leach multi-element analysis, but no assay values of interest were returned.
