During the reporting period, field work comprising brief geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys, plus a limited programme of percussion drilling (2 holes for 320 feet), was undertaken across the licence to evaluate known deposits of kyanite, and subsequently also secondary copper ore, secondary lead ore and minor vein sulphides, and auriferous vein quartz. All of the prospects examined were found to be small and unworthy of further exploration. The potential for locating extensions to the Radium Hill uranium lodes, hidden under cover beyond the boundaries of the mine reserve, is now being investigated.
