Approximately 61% of a small licence area located immediately north-west of the Olympic Dam deposit has been relinquished under the terms of the Lake Torrens Project Amalgamated Expenditure Agreement. Only minimal work has been performed on the subject area, with most activity on the project being conducted on EL4322 Andamooka North (and its antecedents). Work related to the Todds Dam area consists only of a part of a detailed gravity survey acquired during February 2008 by Tasman’s joint venture partner at the time, WCP Resources Ltd, which entire survey covered a number of tenements : only that subset of gravity data relating to the portion of EL 4857 that has been relinquished is provided herein. The gravity survey was undertaken to infill historic regional gravity surveys, in order to provide regional 1 km x 1 km station spacing and to infill centre point station spacing, thereby giving an effective 700 m diagonally spaced grid. Both WCP Resources and Tasman have conducted geophysical modelling of the subject area using the detailed gravity data [and, contrary to the author's opinion expressed in this partial surrender report, that interpretative information about the survey results is available in the open file content of Env 11911, that was released by DSD in August 2014 under the provisions of the Sunset Clause to the Regulations under the SA Mining Act].
