28 square km, or the whole southern half, of an area centred ~14 km north-west of Murray Bridge has now been relinquished because of a recently assigned competing land usage classification that would make it difficult to do mineral exploration there. The aim in originally taking up this ground had been to explore for possible economic buried base metal and gold mineralisation having the scope to be trucked a relatively short distance to Terramin’s mineral processing and storage facilities near Strathalbyn.
