Four portions of the subject licence, which lies adjacent to and south-west of Wilpena Pound National Park, have been surrendered following a downgrading of their perceived prospectivity for possible economic buried sediment-hosted oxide and sulphide base metal mineralisation which could be hosted by Neoproterozoic metasediments. The only work undertaken on these surrendered licence portions was a desktop review of historic exploration activities and the digital compilation of relevant data, plus some field reconnaissance visits to inspect interpreted geological structures and the outcropping strata associated with sites of recorded base metal surface geochemical anomalies.
