Two adjacent portions of the subject licence, which are centred ~13 km south-southwest of Wilpena Pound National Park, have been surrendered following a downgrading of their perceived prospectivity for possible economic buried sediment-hosted oxide and sulphide base metal mineralisation which could be hosted by Neoproterozoic metasediments. The only work undertaken on these now surrendered licence portions was a desktop review of historic exploration activities and the digital compilation of relevant data, plus some field reconnaissance visits to inspect interpreted geological structures and the outcropping strata associated with them.
