No new work - licensee only made reviews of existing data. Westernx’s primary exploration target was IOCG-U mineralisation hosted in haematite-magnetite breccia complexes. EL 4915 was selected due to its location on the boundary of the Olympic Copper-Gold Province, where the basement is host to Olympic Dam, Prominent Hill, Carrapateena, Hillside and more recent discoveries. The northern areas of the Gawler Craton are under-explored due to thick sequences of sedimentary cover. No past drilling done within the area covered by EL 4915 had reached crystalline basement.
