Exploration for possible economic sandstone-hosted copper-lead-zinc mineralisation, carried out over a small area centred ~90 km north-east of Hawker, consisted only of making field reconnaissance traverses accompanied by 1:50K scale geological mapping and the collection of 1865 soil geochemical samples for laboratory assaying. The horizon targeted was the top of the Parachilna Formation, below the middle Cambrian limestones, as gossanous ironstone pods were seen to have formed there. No conclusions about the results of this work have been presented by the licensee.
