Exploration for possible economic sandstone-hosted copper-lead-zinc mineralisation, carried out over a small area centred ~90 km south-east of Leigh Creek, consisted only of making field reconnaissance traverses accompanied by 1:50K scale geological mapping and the collection of 1085 soil geochemical samples for laboratory assaying. Some large, north-east trending manganese oxide -filled veins were noted within sandstones in the northern part of the tenement, besides otherwise common deuteric alteration of the bedrock. No other conclusions about the results of this work have been presented by the licensee.
