An adjoining group of tenements located between Hawker and Wilpena Pound were taken up to explore for possible buried economic hydrothermal stratiform copper mineralisation which may have formed in sandy strata next to significant disruptive structures affecting the entire lower portion of the Neoproterozoic metasedimentary sequence. The only new activities of relevance to the subject three licences were a review of past exploration results, some on-ground reconnaissance visits to inspect previous explorers' geochemical anomalies, and the collection and assaying of 544 soil samples collected from surficial cover to the Arkaba Diapir on EL 4956 during August-September 2014. The east-west orientated sample traverses were spaced 1 km apart, with samples taken along them at 100 m intervals. When interpretation of the assay results and other considerations did not reveal any compelling targets for drilling, it was decided to surrender the licences and focus effort on the other two remaining Torrens Project tenements, ELs 5014 and 5371.
