An attenuated licence area centred ~80 km south-west of Port Augusta is being explored for possible buried IOCG-U mineralisation and shear-hosted uranium deposits that may be associated with parts of the Roopena Fault and the Kalinjala Mylonite Zone. Known IOCG style alteration is present at the historic Spencer prospect, and elevated uranium anomalism is apparent in previous explorers' calcrete geochemical sampling data. On the two now relinquished small separate portions of the licence, the only work undertaken has been the acquisition of part of a ground gravity survey in December 2012. Data from the entire survey, which was completed in February 2013, are presently more than five years old and therefore, because it would be unnecessary to now subset just the part of them related to the relinquished ground (a total of 64 stations), the licensee has given permission for DPC to release the entire, 874 station survey dataset to open file [this was done on 4/2/2019 via Sunset Clause release #36, in Env 12276].
