A small area situated just north of the Beda Arm of Lake Torrens, and ~20 km north-northeast of the Carrapateena deposit, has been explored for possible buried high grade IOCG mineralisation that may be present in Proterozoic basement rocks. It was taken up to cover some low order magnetic and gravity anomalies seen in open file regional geophysical data. During the first two licence years, Red Metal planned an infill gravity survey to provide data to augment the existing gravity datasets. It was decided to acquire tenement wide coverage at 250 m station spacings along lines 500 m apart, plus readings on a detailed 250 m x 250 m prospect grid over a gravity anomaly in the south – eastern corner of the tenement, for a total of 875 stations. The survey became postponed in the 2018-2019 reporting year due to higher priority work then needed on Red Metal’s nearby ELs 6014 and 6035, where six rotary mud / diamond cored holes were drilled for a total of 6149.1 m. Attempts to start the postponed gravity survey were made in 2019 – 2020, but due to the unforeseen travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic control measures, it again had to be postponed. During licence Year 4, the intended gravity survey could not be conducted due to various reasons. A review of existing data led to the re-assessment of priorities within Red Metal's Stuart Shelf licences, and it was decided to let tenure of the subject licence lapse at expiry in that year.
