The Hardy licence [wrongly named ‘Altimeter’ by the licensee] is situated within the eastern Adelaide Fold Belt north-east of Burra, and is centred 30 km east of Oodla Wirra near the north-western margin of the Murray Basin. The area was considered prospective for copper and gold due to the type of remnant historically worked mineralisation present there, and EL 6029 was applied for to cover ground that might have igneous intrusions buried under the surface. There had previously been exploration for diamonds, with numerous kimberlite occurrences noted. The local surface geology is dominated by Neoproterozoic rocks, predominantly shales, siltstones, and dolomitic metasedimentary units, all variably folded. The presence of dolomites within the fold structures gives encouragement for the focusing of mineralised fluids. Little evidence for intrusions exists at the surface, however the presence of kimberlites indicates that a pathway for magma and hydrothermal fluids has existed in the past, and so the plumbing system might exist for emplacing metalliferous deposits of significance. The bedrock on ~40% of the tenement is concealed under alluvial cover ranging from 0.5 m to >20 m thick. During the first licence Year, SA Exploration undertook the reprocessing of aeromagnetic data as part of a regional work program exploring for magnetic lows. No ground disturbing activities were undertaken. During licence Year 2, further work was undertaken to reprocess magnetic data to identify areas of magnetic lows [This is a direct repeat/copy of the previous year's work description]. 33 rock chip geochemical samples were collected from across the tenement for laboratory assaying, but the results were not yet to hand. Time was also spent collating historical data collected in the 1990s by Fairview Gold and Placer Exploration, for the purpose of identifying areas of interest for follow up work. During licence Year 3, SA Exploration commissioned an independent review by Heberlein Geoconsulting of the geology on the tenement and surrounding ground, to confirm what style of mineralisation should be explored for, and to generate targets for gold and copper exploration. The assay results from the previous year's sampling were returned and reviewed. Access to the most significant sites did not occur. Time was also spent collating historical data collected in the 1990s by Fairview Gold and Placer Exploration for the purpose of identifying areas of interest for follow up work. [This is a direct copy of the previously submitted work description]. During licence Year 4 little work was undertaken, due both to COVID19 and the sale of the tenement to iTech Minerals Ltd. No work was undertaken during Licence Year 5, and tenure was not renewed.
