No exploration work has been undertaken on either of the recently relinquished portions of the two subject licences. Within the JV project tenements, exploration targets being addressed are: (1) possible economic buried IOCG (iron oxide-associated copper-gold) deposits hosted by complex, highly deformed and altered igneous rocks of the Archaean Gawler Craton, and (2) possible sediment-hosted copper-cobalt mineralisation that may have formed in the younger and largely undeformed Adelaidean sedimentary rocks of the Stuart Shelf cover sequence which overlies the older basement rocks. The JV's planned ongoing work programme for the immediate future is to combine historic open file drillhole data with newly interpreted basement and cover geological models, that have been derived from the April 2018 public release of the processed data from Block 3B of the State Government-sponsored PACE Copper Gawler Craton Airborne Survey.
