An area centred ~30 km north-west of Cowell has been explored for possible buried graphite mineralisation that might have formed within highly metamorphosed Archaean to Proterozoic bedrock sediments located adjacent to large crustal penetrating regional linear structures. The tenement was taken up to cover any inferred extensions of known graphite mineralisation occurring in the Campoona Syncline to the south. No bedrock drilling was believed to have previously been done in the area. No new work was done during the whole period of tenure, before it was decided to fully surrender the licence. Desktop reviews only were undertaken on historical data. Existing geophysical data were studied to create part of a regional prospectivity model for interpreted structures and stratiform mineralisation.
