This report presents oceanographic observations obtained at the Amrit-1 well, located along the southern continental slope of Australia in approximately 1395 meters water depth (Figure 1). This report details measurements of ocean currents, water temperature, and ocean waves, and provides a description of the results in text and graphical formats. The data collected for this project span April 6 to October 4, 2004 (about 181 days), and to our knowledge represent the only long-term current data set collected in this region. The observations were separated into two parts due to mid-term servicing requirements: Phase I occurred from April 6 to July 2 and Phase II from July 6 to October 4. Results from each measurement phase are presented in this report.
