Geological reconnaissance and semi-detailed stream sediment sampling that was undertaken over the entire licence area did not disclose any significant base metal anomalism, with most copper and zinc assay values being below background. The weak (240 ppm) zinc anomaly at White Well was not followed up. A single percussion drillhole was commenced at Stone's copper claim (ITD 110 feet) to test beneath malachite/haematite in outcrop, after copper to 110 ppm was detected in stream sediments for a distance of more than 1 mile along a possible fault extending through the claim area.
