A very small area located adjacent to the north-western side of the Mount Babbage Inlier was purchased in order to explore the cover there for possible buried sediment hosted secondary uranium and tin mineralisation, besides looking for any economic primary base metal deposits that might have formed in the underlying in the Proterozoic basement. No field work was done during licence Years 4 through 6, while land access negotiations were held with Native Title claimants. In licence Year 7, Havilah's attention was fully committed elsewhere, to the commissioning of its Portia gold mine. Havilah's ongoing collation and review of available open file data sets indicated that there might be limited potential for finding uranium mineralisation at Prospect Hill. Nothing else was done for the rest of the 10 year tenure period, until a decision was made to fully surrender the licence.
