IP and resistivity surveys, 1:200 scale geological mapping, and soil and rock chip sampling were carried out over exploration grids covering bleached metasedimentary outcrops that might indicate possible buried lode extensions in the vicinity of the Talisker and Campbell Creek mines. One westwards-inclined diamond hole was drilled to a depth of 477 feet to test an IP anomaly, but was abandoned after entering an old mine tunnel (suspected to be the NW 250 foot level of Lowry's mine). No significant mineralisation was encountered, and no anomalous base or precious metal values were returned. Background lead values in soils of the area are on average 10 times greater than associated copper values.
