The easternmost and westernmost thirds (portions totalling ~52%) of the former area of EL 5931, located approximately 30 km north of Kimba, have been relinquished due to their perceived diminished prospectivity for economic buried occurrences of basement-hosted epithermal/hydrothermal/metamorphic gold, silver, iron, uranium, and base metals mineralisation. On the now relinquished ground portions, during the subject reporting period, work done has consisted of: - the acquisition during December 2016-March 2017, plus processing and interpretation, of data obtained from part (44 line km) of a 1799 line km helicopter-borne electromagnetic survey flown along lines spaced 800 m apart; - the acquisition during August-September 2018, plus processing and interpretation, of data obtained from part (480 line km) of a 18,946 line km detailed, 100 m flight line spaced, 30 m sensor height fixed wing airborne magnetic/radiometric/DEM survey; and - doing a review of historic surface geochemical sampling data and collection/analysis methods. No AEM conductors of interest for reflecting massive base metal sulphide mineralisation were identified within the relinquished ground, that warranted the JV performing follow-up ground-based moving loop EM surveys. No prospective buried iron formation magnetostratigraphy or interpreted fluid pathway geological structures akin to those seen at and near the Weednanna gold deposit were recognised to occur on the relinquished licence portions. No coherent geochemical anomalies were discerned from a consultant's computer processing discriminant analysis of historic assay data from 260 previously reported surface media samples.
