The northern portion of EL 6132, comprising ~0.59% of its former area, was relinquished by the JV partners on 18/7/2019. The only work performed within the now relinquished ground has consisted of reconnaissance + infill surface geochemical sampling over two stratigraphic/structural targets recognised within Cambrian carbonate rocks, done as part of a regional search for possible buried economic Beltana style zinc silicate mineralisation, as well as for possible epigenetic hydrothermal lead-zinc sulphide and copper mineralisation. In total, 502 soil samples were scanned using a portable XRF spectroscopic analyser, and 17 rock chip samples were laboratory assayed for 52 major and trace elements plus whole rock composition. Two areas of soil were identified that had returned elevated to minor base metal anomalism associated with structures passing through the Neoproterozoic - Cambrian stratigraphic boundary, but infill sampling and rock chip sampling did not disclose any useful pathfinder element values or strengthen the original base metal signal. The extent of these anomalies (<100 m) was seen as being too small to warrant further investigation.
