The acquisition in the Sedan area by Shell Coal Pty Ltd during May 1999 of high resolution infill aeromagnetic data, as part of the South Australian Exploration Initiative (SAEI) airborne geophysical programme, has enabled some revision of the author's previous interpretation of the nature of basement underlying Shell's EL 2487. There is now greater discrimination of the rock features within the Delamerian intrusive suite, accompanied by a revised structural interpretation.
