Exploration licence 6293 “Ulooloo” covers an area of 103 square km and is in the Hallett area approximately 50 km north of Burra and covers the historic Ulooloo Goldfield. The area is considered prospective for “Sediment-hosted disseminated gold” and covers part of the Nackara Arc and the Adelaide Fold Belt. During the first licence year Terramin focussed on compiling historic data for the area, talking to previous tenement holders, and promoting the project to third parties. Key features identified by Terramin that support the prospectivity for sediment-hosted disseminated gold within the tenements include the presence of dolomitic units, jasperlitic alteration, the lack of an easily identifiable source for historic mined alluvial gold, and the interception of gold mineralisation not associated with quartz veining in historic drill data. No work was undertaken on the tenement for the following 4 years of reporting and has now expired.
