An area centred ~100 km west of Port Augusta is being explored for possible economic buried, basement-hosted occurrences of epithermal/hydrothermal/metamorphic gold, silver, iron, uranium, and base metals mineralisation. On the now relinquished ground portion, which comprises ~64% of the former area of EL 5875, work done has consisted of the acquisition during August 2018 of part (~561 line km) of a detailed 100 m flight line spacing airborne magnetic/radiometric/DEM survey, making a geological and structural interpretation of the relevant survey data, and generating conceptual exploration targets. The subject licence portion was selected for relinquishment due to its perceived diminished prospectivity.
