Approximately 27% of the former area of EL 5107, consisting of four separate peripheral sub-blocks located on the southern, eastern and northern sides of the licence, was partially relinquished by the JV partners on 22/7/2017 due to its perceived diminished prospectivity for high grade buried basement-hosted IOCG mineralisation. During the 20-year period of tenure, the only work done on the subject now relinquished ground portions was the drilling of 2 vertical RC precollared NQ diamond cored holes during June 2006: PN-06-03 to TD 270 m, and PN-06-05 to TD 410 m; and the acquisition during late 2006 of part of an infill gravity survey (survey total 499 stations read).
