An area centred ~130 km north of Woomera, and which lies ~45 km north-west of the Olympic Dam mine, is being explored for possible economic buried IOCG-U type mineralisation. No field work was conducted during the first licence year. Instead, Fortescue conducted Native Title land access negotiations, compiled and reviewed available data, and refined its exploration strategy and approach. During licence Year 2, no new work was done. Plans were made to conduct airborne and ground geophysical surveys during Year 3.
