An area centred ~90 km south-east of Tarcoola, that runs along the boundary of Lake Gairdner National Park and is located within the northern part of the Central Gawler Gold Province, is being explored for possible economic buried epithermal style gold/silver mineralisation that may have formed in Archaean to Mesoproterozoic basement rocks. During the first licence year, Doray conducted a field trip to reconnoitre means of access, track conditions, regolith landforms, and any outcropping geology in the area. It was seen that much of the licence area is devoid of outcrop, with extensive sand dune cover. Therefore plans were made to commence regional surface geochemical sampling in the following year.
