During 2013, the tenth year of the Curnamona Project, field activities were conducted by MMG on ELs 4225, 4259, 4313, 4441, 4691, 4782 and 4940. Four ground gravity surveys were acquired on parts of six licences. In total 7519 new stations were...

During 2013, the tenth year of the Curnamona Project, field activities were conducted by MMG on ELs 4225, 4259, 4313, 4441, 4691, 4782 and 4940. Four ground gravity surveys were acquired on parts of six licences. In total 7519 new stations were read over a consistently used 500 m x 250 m grid. The new gravity data were interpreted to identify targets for drilling which might contain significant copper mineralisation. The follow-up tests involved drilling 105 open vertical aircore holes for 6498 m spread over across four prospects showing gravity and magnetic anomalies which could be IOCG prospective, that were followed by 17 inclined diamond holes for 7546.15 m to obtain basement core samples. The best result obtained was from hole BNG13DD001 which was designed to follow up on copper-gold anomalism encountered by aircore drilling done at Croziers Dam prospect. Here intense skarnoid alteration (magnetite-fluorite-actinolite-chlorite-pyrrhotite-pyrite) carrying minor copper mineralisation yielded a best intercept of 4 m @ 1% Cu. During 2014, the eleventh year of the project, all the field activities carried out were conducted by MMG on ELs 4691, 4782, 4940 and 5488. The exploration program commenced with a sub-audio magnetic (SAM) survey which covered an area totalling 29.14 km2. At 100 m line spacing, the area surveyed represented 319.097 line-km of traverses including grid overlap. This survey was designed to image and identify anomalous zones across the southern Eurinilla Dome (e.g., resistive breaks in the Bimba Formation). The resulting data was used to refine diamond drilling targets from the Cu-Ag-Au anomalism that was intersected in the 2013 aircore drilling program. Two phases of diamond drilling were completed in June/July 2014 and October-December 2014. A total of 27 holes for 8113m were completed at the Eurinilla Prospect (EL5488 Eurinilla and EL4691 Mulyungarie), Birksgate Prospect (EL4782 Benagerie) and Sage Prospect (EL4940 Emu Dam). The Eurinilla drilling program yielded the highest absolute copper values of the program with the majority of the anomalous copper found to be almost entirely supergene. Two holes (EUR14DD009 and EUR14DD004), however, intersected fresh sulphides (pyrrhotite +pyrite +chalcopyrite) that was notably different. At the Birksgate prospect BRK14DD001A was the first hole to intersect significant copper mineralisation in a magnetite-altered, thickly laminated graphitic pelite that directly overlies an unusual sequence of pyritic conglomerates and psammites. The drill hole recorded an intersection of 23.8 m @ 0.5% Cu, 0.35 g/t Au, 3.3 g/t Ag, 290 ppm Mo and 110 ppm U from 207.5 m, including narrow intervals with grades of up to 2.65% Cu and 183 ppm U. Four samples were selected from holes EMP13DD005, BNG13DD001 and BRK14DD001A and sent to CODES (Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Ore Deposits) for U-Pb geochronological analysis. Three chalcopyrite-pyrite samples were taken from holes EUR14DD004, BNG13DD001 and BRK14DD001A and sent to CODES to determine their Re content before being forwarded as appropriate for dating by Rob Creaser, University of Alberta. In late 2013, 65 samples were submitted for petrographic analysis by consultant Tony Crawford from CODES, with a further 71 samples submitted for petrographic analysis throughout 2014. During 2015, the twelfth year of the project, all exploration activities focused on data interrogation and evaluation of results obtained from the intensive exploration carried out by MMG during the period 02 November 2011 to 31 December 2014. Selected samples from the 2013 and 2014 drilling were chosen for Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis by Monash University during 2015. The purpose of this work was to determine fluid alteration and potential REE? and Uranium mineralisation within the samples. Havilah Resources Limited has an agreement with Curnamona Energy, which gives exploration rights on 4300 km2 of tenements covering Exploration Licences 4691, 4782, 4940, 5246, 5369, 5420, 5421, 5422, 5423 and 5593 for Tertiary Uranium. Curnamona Energy Limited reports on this exploration separately. On 31 December 2015 in accordance with Clause 14.1 of the Option and Joint Venture agreement, having met withdrawal requirements, MMG withdrew from the Development Option of the agreement. The results of the 2013 petrographic analysis of 98 samples are included with this report, having been accidentally omitted in the previous reporting period. During 2016, the thirteenth year of the project, all exploration activities were again focused on data review and evaluation. The data review focused around the Benagerie Dome which is highly mineralised and has been shown by previous exploration to be very prospective for new copper-gold and gold discoveries in three specific deposit types: 1. IOCG copper-gold mineralisation at the Bassanio Prospect which lies in the core of the Benagerie Dome and is evidenced by strong coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies, and >40% iron in previous Pasminco-Werrie Gold drill samples. 2. Skarn copper-gold mineralisation at the Croziers Prospect marked by a linear aeromagnetic anomaly that is located on the eastern margin of a circular granite body. The granite does not outcrop but is identified by coincident circular aeromagnetic and gravity lows characteristic of granite bodies in the region. 3. High grade gold lodes at the Shylock and Portia (Portia East and Portia South) Prospects which include some of the highest gold grades ever drilled in South Australia (e.g., 23 m @ 79.4 g/t in Pasminco drill hole BEN 0677 at Shylock and 26 m @ 15.4 g/t in Havilah drilling). During 2017, the fourteenth year of the project, Havilah focused its field exploration on the testing the Croziers copper and Shylock gold prospects within the Benagerie Dome with two drilling programs undertaken. A total of 19 RC holes for 1678 m were drilled at Croziers, while 18 Aircore holes for 1950 m were drilled to test the Shylock prospect. At Croziers drilling intersected a ~50m thick, locally skarn altered and variably mineralised sequence of pelites, albitites and probable carbonate bearing metasediments dipping shallowly to the east, significant intersects included CRRC001 81-82 m, with 1 m @ 0.12 ppm Au + 23 ppm Ag + 0.27% Cu, and CRRC004 75-85 m, with 10 m @ 0.7% Cu. At Shylock, drilling intersected a deeply weathered and oxidised sequence of basement lithologies under approximately 70m of Tertiary cover including Namba clays and sands and Eyre Formation clays. Significant intersections include SHAC034 67-68 m, with 1 m @ 27.2 ppm Au. A single diamond hole BADD009 was drilled at Bassanio for 342.7 m. Drilling was completed as part of a PACE funded project DPY9-44 [See Env 13047 CNO:2039932] A detailed geological review for the newly identified Jupiter target was also undertaken towards the end of the reporting period. The target, comprised of 2 smaller targets C2 & C3, was identified through the 2017 AusLAMP (Australian Lithospheric Architecture Magnetotellurics Project – a national survey with the South Australian component undertaken by the Geological Survey of South Australia and the University of Adelaide), with target C2 having a high conductive body with a low resistivity pathway to the surface that has similarities to the MT responses of Olympic Dam and Ernest Henry. During 2018, the Curnamona Project was subdivided into the Central Curnamona and Jupiter Project Areas. Work undertaken during the reporting period in the Central Curnamona area included the compilation and standardisation of existing data from earlier exploration activities, along with the ongoing compilation of open file exploration data for Kalabity EL 5578. Within the Jupiter Project Area compilation of previous exploration work was undertaken. ... Exploration Licence 5966 "Moolawatana" was surrendered 17th December 2023. During the period 1/1/2017 - 7/12/2023 no reportable scientific data was generated on the tenement by Havilah and as such has been relinquished from the tenement holdings.
