37 square km or ~38% of the formerly once-reduced area of EL 4828/5933 Morgans have lately been relinquished, this block of ground covering a section of the licence located along the north-western shoreline of Lake Gilles. It has been explored mainly for possible structurally controlled epithermal silver and base metal deposits of Paris style, which could have formed close to the southern margin of the Gawler Ranges. Work done on the now relinquished licence portion has comprised rock chip/lag sampling of previously recorded surficial lithium, cobalt and REE anomalies, and of small vein occurrences of iron/manganese enrichment, plus part of regional reconnaissance soil geochemical sampling performed on a regular 500 m grid spacing, with some infill done around the Morgans North Cu-Au anomaly; the places where salt lakes lie were not sampled. 52 rock chip/lag samples were submitted at various times for a full 61 element mass spectrographical analysis, and 159 x minus 1.6 mm sieved soil size fraction samples were submitted early in 2013 for laboratory partial leach analysis of a 32 trace element suite. The resulting assay data are included herein.
