A licence which covers much of the northern Willouran Ranges, to the south-west of Marree, is being explored for large tonnage, Zambian style sediment hosted copper deposits that may have formed in the Adelaidean bedrock buried under shallow cover. Many small outcropping copper mineralised occurrences of this style are known locally and have been historically worked on a small scale. No work was done during the first licence year. During licence Year 2, when making a five day field reconnaissance visit, Renascor Resources collected 107 rock chip samples from 6 traverses across mineralised strata, and reviewed the local stratigraphy. Multi-element assaying of these samples detected anomalous copper values extending for over 5 km of strike length. The licensee proposes to review the potential for finding near surface oxidised copper occurrences near historic prospects, followed by the conduct of detailed geochemical sampling and RC drilling to test shallow targets. During licence Year 3no on-ground exploration work was undertaken, as such no technical report was submitted. A review of historic data was undertaken to define potential new copper/cobalt targets.
