A large tenement package which it holds within the central Flinders Ranges region is currently being explored by Perilya, primarily looking for zinc silicate mineralisation similar to the Beltana deposit, but also taking into consideration the possible existence of undiscovered economic size deposits of other types of lead-zinc sulphide and copper mineralisation. The only field work completed by Perilya on the now surrendered many parts of EL 6284, which occurred in the south and west of the licence over the period between 2014 and 2017, was to make a total of 249 pXRF soil spectrochemical scans and to collect 2 rock chip samples for laboratory assaying. No significant base metal results were returned from the pXRF scans, with surface concentration maxima of 459 ppm Zn and 69 ppm Pb recorded. Similarly, no anomalous assay results were returned from the rock chip samples.
