Reconnaissance stream sediment geochemical sampling (258 samples) and a detailed geological inspection of resultant base metal anomalies, plus follow-up rock chip and stream sediment sampling, have outlined several minor base metal geochemical anomalies and some small occurrences of primary and secondary copper, lead and zinc mineralisation, all hosted within Adelaidean carbonate diapiric breccias or the intruded adjacent Adelaidean country rock metasediments on the margins of the Pinda Springs Diapir, located 50 km east of Beltana. It was concluded that extensive follow-up work would be required in order to delineate an economic mineral resource within the 28.5 square km area.
