Exploration licence 6794, White Cloud, is located north-west of Kimba approximately 120 km north of Port Neill and covered an area of 411 square kilometres. Kalotech Pty Ltd were exploring the area for kaolin-type deposits within the Tertiary clay related to young lateritic events derived from the Tertiary sandstones. During the 2022-2023 reporting period, an evaluation of Kaolin Type Deposits within EL 6794 was undertaken. Due to the Kalotech being Queensland based and this project being South Australian based, the Covid-19 restrictions made it extremely challenging for Kalotech to conduct exploration activities within EL 6794. Also, during the Covid-19 limitations, Kalotech restructured the company to focus on Queensland minerals, hence Kalotech fully surrendering EL 6794.
