In July 2022, Indiana entered into a co-funded agreement with the South Australian Department for Energy and Mining under the Accelerated Discovery Initiative (ADI). The ADI proposal was to carry out a geophysics survey and, if successful, drilling of the highly prospective Harris Greenstone Domain (HGD) in the search for VMS style-base metal mineralisation. Xcalibur Multiphysics acquired data using the HELITEM2 electromagnetic system supplemented by a high-sensitivity cesium magnetometer. The information from these sensors was processed to produce products that display the magnetic and conductive properties of the survey area. A GPS electronic navigation system ensured accurate positioning of the geophysical data with respect to the base map coordinates. Mitre Geophysics Pty Ltd were engaged to analyse, interpret and produce drill targets from the data acquired by Xcalibur Multiphysics. The HELITEM survey and subsequent interpretation and plate modelling of targets produced two drill worthy targets. Targets A01_HopefulH and A02_HopefulH are considered the best targets based on purely geophysical responses. Geological context and past exploration results reviewed here make the compelling targets for follow up either as Ni-Cu-Co or VHMS style targets.
