Intensive exploration of granitoid environs in the Crocker Well area has outlined new areas of, and extended known areas of, primary uranium mineralization. A regional field evaluation was also made of the Glenorchy and Plumbago areas, leading to the recognition of new stratigraphic subdivisions within the Carpentarian basement rocks, besides providing a great deal of information about the complex lithological variations present within this much deformed metamorphic terrain.
