Evaluation of previous investigations, and geochemical sampling of an Ordovician granite intrusion in the Valley Bore area, particularly for pegmatitic tin-tantalum mineralization, has located only low order anomalous values. Some restricted niobium-tantalum placer mineralization, previously discovered in a Recent cemented conglomeratic unit, is now seen as not economically viable.
