A large suite of very anomalous base metal values encountered by recent exploration company drilling on the eastern flank of the buried Benagerie Ridge structure are associated with distinctive basement geophysical anomalies forming a discrete circular pattern. There is potential for stratiform, sulphur-rich, Early to Mid-Proterozoic Zn-Cu-Mo-Ba-Mn zoned mineralization emplaced in saline sedimentary environments interpreted to be similar to those of the Mount Isa and MacArthur River ore deposits, plus additional potential for Middle Proterozoic, alkaline igneous intrusion - related, breccia type and stockwork Cu-Mo-Au vein deposits.
