Mineralogy of bismuth in Cattlegrid concentrate.
Created: 12 Nov 2024 Revised: 12 Nov 2024

Electron microprobe analysis showed that bismuth is present largely as wittichenite, most of which is locked within copper sulphides. Some (wholly) locked native bismuth is present, and a little bismuth may also occur in the galena lattice.
