Binocular microscopy was carried out on Pandurra Formation and Whyalla Sandstone samples, Coogee beach sand and Mount Gunson dune sand. Petrology was carried out on diamond drill core samples of Pandurra Formation, Woocalla Dolomite, Whyalla Sandstone, Tregolana Shale and Corraberra Sandstone, and comparisons made with other copper mineralized redbed areas.
