At the newly discovered Mount Torrens lead prospect, grid auger soil geochemical sampling, 1:5000 scale geological mapping, limited ground geophysical test surveying and the drilling of 23 percussion holes totalling 3388 m indicated the existence of poddy, subeconomic silver-lead-zinc mineralisation associated with pyritic units of the Brukunga Formation. Grades of up to 9.5% Pb, 2.1% Zn and 42 ppm Ag over 5 m hole intervals were intersected, with potential for further mineralisation nearby. Subeconomic, disseminated stratiform copper mineralisation in quartz-biotite schists of the Brukunga Formation (up to 0.13% Cu over 8 m) was found by drilling at the Pipeline prospect. Regional soil geochemical sampling conducted over Lower Cambrian pyritic units outlined the Marsupial Mouse prospect area.
