16 diamond drill holes tested the distribution and grade of copper mineralization occuring in the Woocalla shales. Drilling results suggest that no economically viable copper deposit exists in the Gully due to the low grade, high overburden and potentially difficult metallurgical treatment. The Gully mineralization is considered to be a sedimentary, syngenetic copper deposit, with the adjacent Main Open Cut deposit being the source for the copper.
