Exploration undertaken to search for Telfer - style Proterozoic stratabound gold, within a large area extending to the north and north-west of Manna Hill township, included an aerial photographic survey of known occurrences, and helicopter-assisted reconnaissance rock chip geochemical sampling of Adelaidean outcrops. The work did not locate any economic mineralisation.
