A major north-east trending fault separating granite porphyry basement from Willouran age metasedimentary cover rocks was rapidly surveyed with a scintillometer for any associated radioactivity, but none was found. A splay style, 2 mile long, east-west trending fault breccia zone was prospected, and some surface, poddy type indications of malachite and chalcocite were observed, but their likely continuity and depth extent is in doubt.
