TARGET: Sulphides at Whyalla Sandstone - Pandurra Formation contact (Cattlegrid type), in Woocalla Dolomite (Sweet Nell type) and in black shale. EXPLORATION: Geological mapping at 1:30 000 scale, reconnaissance rock chip sampling, subsurface soil sampling SW of Birthday Siding, and scout rotary drilling. RESULTS: The Pandurra Formation extends into the Oakden Hills area as a complex of buried ridges separated by shallow valleys. The post-Pandurra surface slopes away from the ridge complex into broad basins of deposition, infilled with the black shale facies of the Woocalla Dolomite. Target areas are the slopes of the Pandurra ridges where the Woocalla Dolomite forms an on-lap structure onto the Pandurra Formation. Follow-up is recommended at McLeay Siding, Little Selby Dam and near drillhole OK11.
