TARGET: Native sulphur associated with possible salt dome structures, the locations of which were interpreted from past petroleum exploration seismic reflection surveys. EXPLORATION: A detailed gravity survey, and 2 rotary/core drillholes totalling 806 m. RESULTS: No evaporites or sulphur were found in Todmorden 1. Traces of native sulphur in dolomitic and gypsiferous sandstone were noted between 223-323 m depth in Todmorden 2.
