Work included over 2000 bedrock samples from RAB drilling and costeaning, and detailed low altitude aerial surveys to define banded iron formation beneath shallow cover. A 5 km zone adjacent to 2 parallel iron formations in the Campoona Grid in metasediments (particularly graphitic schist) with significant copper, lead, zinc values was patchy and discontinuous. Drilling of Sirotem anomaly is recommended here.
