An area located 70 km north-east of Port Augusta has been explored for possible gold and rare earth occurrences in Lower Cambrian sediments near known base metal occurrences and / or zones of structural complexity. Work has consisted of a review of previous exploration, plus reconnaissance rock chip sampling and bulk stream sediment sampling for leachable gold. All resulting geochemical values were low.
