Results from previous geophysical surveys undertaken over Moonta Porphyry subcrop are presented herein, including : - IP, ground magnetic, electroprofiling and electrosounding data from the 1960s and 1970s, - INPUT, magnetic and radiometric contours from the 1975, 1982 and 1984 Kadina airborne geophysical surveys, - 1984 regional gravity survey, - 1985-1987 reconnaissance Sirotem surveys, - downhole TEM logging. A detailed outline of the geophysical appraisal of the Parramatta, Poona and Wheal Hughes lodes is also presented, including Sirotem, ground magnetic, gravity and IP results.
